The long awaited Japanese exhibition comes to Collins Street. Oud Gallery is proud to present the inaugural exhibition of work from the land of Rising Sun.

Japan has always held a special place in the heart of artists since the time of French impressionism with Monet and Van Gogh both heavily influenced by Japanese silk screen prints up to the prestent day with the 21st century fascination with Anime.

Over two months during the cherry blossom season Kristan was able to join in the long history of artists to capture this elegant culture using pen and ink on paper. These paper images form windows to another world and help capture daily life in the land of the Rising Sun.
