Our New Home on Collins Street

After four years at our previous location, we are delighted to welcome you to Oud Art’s beautiful new home – just a few doors along Collins Street, nestled beside the InterContinental Hotel.

It is, in every sense, a space made for art. Clerestory stained glass windows draw the eye upward, a carved double door opens onto the bustle of the street outside, and richly painted walls create an atmosphere that is intimate and refined – the kind of elegant, boutique experience that lets the work speak for itself.

And speak it does. The new layout allows Kristan's paintings to be displayed thematically, so you can move through forestscapes, seascapes, cloudscapes, and cityscapes at your own pace – each series its own world, each piece waiting to find its home.

The statement pieces – Kristan's largest and most vibrant canvases – command the space with the presence they deserve. Catch a glimpse from the pavement or through the hotel entrance, and then step inside to find these centrepiece works displayed in full, giving you a true sense of how they would look and feel in your own home.

Throughout the central gallery, Kristan's Melbourne sketch series is proudly on display. Restaurants, bars, architecture, and city panoramas – the whole character of the city, rendered in ink. Find a place that holds a memory, or discover somewhere new to love.

For our VIP guests, the private gallery rooms, not usually open to the public, offer something altogether different: a more personal journey that might take you to Paris, New York, Tokyo, London, Rome and beyond.

This is a gallery of discovery. A place to take your time, to see how a piece catches the light, to find the work that was always meant to be yours.
