Tokyo Station is one of Tokyo’s most recognisable landmarks, combining grand European-inspired architecture with the energy of a modern railway hub. Opened in 1914, its distinctive red-brick façade and elegant domes have made it an enduring symbol of the city. Despite being damaged during World War II, the station was carefully restored, preserving much of its historic character while continuing to serve millions of travellers every year.

This work was made as I commuted back from the emperors palace and was taken by the long avenue of trees in autumnal colours especially striking in the afternoon sun as it set.
