Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) 2025

$800.00

This artwork celebrates the Elizabeth Tower, home to the world-famous Big Ben, as an enduring symbol of British identity. Towering above Westminster, its intricate Gothic detailing and the timeless chime of its great bell mark the passage of time for the nation. More than just a clock, the tower stands as a monument to resilience, heritage, and the rhythm of civic life in London.

I made this drawing from across the Thames while enjoying a warm drink from inside the former chambers of the Government which have been converted into a cozy but luxurious lounge. This is the first sketch of this location on my first night in London.
