Eternal Exploration

$15,000.00

this artwork is an exploration of colour and light which took twelve months to complete. The scene depicts light filtering through clouds over a body of water. It begins in the upper right with deep blues that formed the first layer of clouds. Following those blues are washes of yellow and orange that suggest the warmth of sunlight breaking through. The final colour is a deep magenta, gently softened with tones from white to cream to create beautiful shades of pink as the sunlight refracts through the cloud layers. It is, in essence, an abreaction of a scene I witnessed over the waters during a stay at the beach. The prevailing feelings are those of hope, renewal, and the quiet pulse of life.
