Half Moon Bay - vast horizons

$0.00
Sold Out

This work invites viewers to immerse themselves in the captivating vista overlooking Blackrock and Half-moon Bay near the Cerberus shipwreck in Port Phillip Bay. The artwork exudes a sense of tranquility, offering a gateway to escape into the vastness of the ocean or the expanse of the sky above. The inclusion of a small rocky elements in the foreground adds texture to the composition. Created with a combination of palette knife and brush techniques, the painting captures the serene beauty of this coastal landmark.

The work is inspired by time spent walking along Port Philip bay following in the footsteps of Tom Roberts. The day from which this was created was the most busy day at the beach in 30 years.
