Tesselaar Tulip Fields #2

$0.00
Sold Out

When the Dutch moved to Melbourne, some of them brought tulips bulbs and planted them in the Dandenong Ranges. Every spring the cultivated fields burst to life with a huge assortment of colour.

This work is created with thick impasto paint which has been liberally applied with a pallet knife to create a vibrant piece which looks like a tapestry up close. The wide array of colours make it suitable for any wall, but this work is best for those with a bold life who know where they are going and want to follow their dreams over the horizon and into the clouds ahead.

The work will make any room feel smaller due to the narrowing visual effect of the rows of flowers.
