The inspiration for this work came from a day in the One World observation deck looking towards the empire state building.
When the sunset - it turned the sky into a brilliant shade of red which cast pink light onto the key rulings in Manhattan. The effect was a city in gold an pinks for a unique hour.
This work contains 18karat gold which has been delicately applied to achieve the effect of sunlight dancing across buildings.
